S and B Decorating were established in 1985. For the last twenty four years we have steadily built up an extremely good reputation in the new build and maintenance sectors in this area, ensuring all work is to our satisfaction as well as the Developer/Customer, before, during and after Decorating/Maintenance and Tiling.
S and B were the first company in East Anglia to be invited into the ground breaking 'Contract Partnership' scheme from I.C.I in 1999, which gives Dulux approved status, Product and workmanship guarantees. Also the assurance of following Quality Assurance equivalents of ISO9002, BS6150, and BS8000. As a Contract Partner we have proved our commitment to Safety, Health and the Environment and Compliance with all Statutory Requirements (Tel: 01784 472 462). S and B are a Registered CITB Levy Payer, members of the British Standards Institute and are also members of the countries oldest established Association Painting & Decorating Association In October 2004 we were very proud to Achieve 'Investor in People' status which helped show our commitment to the organising of systems and training of our Site & Office based Staff.
S and B Are an Equal Opportunities employer & have an extensive Training Plan. In line with the 'Major Contractors Group' S and B site operatives are 100 % CSCS Card holders. To show our commitment to training our site operatives that have been Decorating for many a year but have no official qualifications. we offer OSAT training/testing to acheive an NVQ-2 qualification. S and B also like to bring Young People into the Industry and try to have a Minimum of 3 CITB Trainee Painters & Decorators (One in each of the 3 NVQ levels). We have partnered with 'CTS' a Construction Training Specialist for Training of all Site and Office staff. We have an In-house Health and Safety Manager and are pleased to have achieved Full 'CHAS - Accredited Contractor' Status.
In the middle of 2008 we expanded our Companies Capabilities after combining forces with a Painting Department of a highly respected Family Run local Building Company, This gave us an Increased Workforce, an additional Branch, increased Vehicle fleet, more efficient Administration and most of all a wider skills base of very Skilled Employees, with an ability to Cover East Anglia more efficiently and effectively.
We are fully Insured Commercial Decorators offering our reliable and quality services throughout East Anglia and beyond. All our work can be carried out to a pre-agreed schedule, including out of hours and weekend working, this will keep the disruption to your business, that you might normally expect to be caused by decorating, to a minimum.
